2026 ART BALLOT FUNDRAISER
Art lovers, collector and friends of the RAS eagerly await this exhibition each year – an exciting day – be part of it and take home a fine Australian painting.
This is the major fundraiser for the Society. We are an independent ‘not for profit’ Society deriving funds from our art school, gallery, workshops, donations and our Art Ballot Fundraiser. The upkeep on these lovely Victorian Terraces houses which the Society purchased in 1956 and 1957 are paramount to the Society keeping it’s doors open. All donations are tax deductible. We are a registered charity.
How does it work?
Artists of the RAS are invited to donate painting/s for this fundraiser.
The exhibition is hung and catalogued.
Our website will have all images of paintings in this exhibition along with titles and sizes.
Tickets are sold at $450 each.
Ticket holders come to the gallery during the viewing times and list their favourite paintings or view online. * As paintings are donated they are put onto the website.
Every person purchasing a ticket will choose a painting. ** There are always more paintings on walls than tickets sold so that everyone has a choice of paintings.
This year’s Royal Art Society Ballot Exhibition Draw is set for Sunday 2nd August 2026 so get in early and purchase your tickets. Limited number of tickets available.
The event will be live screened on the day.
Absentee lists are available for those not in attendance. Everyone welcome to purchase tickets. It’s exciting waiting for your ticket to be drawn, lucky door prizes, drinks and nibbles on the day.
Viewing Times:
Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm
Saturday and Sunday 11am to 4pm
First viewing Saturday 4th July, 2026 and last viewing Saturday 1st August
NO VIEWING SUNDAY 2ND AUGUST
DOORS OPEN AT 11.30AM FOR SEATING ONLY
DRAW WILL COMMENCE AT 12 NOON SHARP
